Omg, again a piece of art from Freida McFadden. I read the entire book thinking I had it all figured out but I knew she'd find a way to surprise me. The plot twist was actually insane and I didn't predict anything, but I love the way she makes us think we know everything, just to throw us off the real track. It was a super tense book, and at some moments I thought it was gonna cross the horror limit, especially when Luke left to go get help, but right when I thought it was about to get gruesome, she got me back on the psychological thriller track. I love how her books always have a "strong" woman character. To finish I don't know if it's a real happy ending, like I usually feel at the end of her books, but it was also her first book where I didn't like any of the characters and it's fine. I'd just say that doctor Adrian kinda seemed unrealistic, because as a psychiatrist I thought that she really lacked empathy, and she saw herself as this mind-reader who's above the crowd, and kind of superior to everyone. To me it just doesn't make sence that she would be a good psychiatrist in the real world.
