Seer of Sevenwaters by Juliet Marillier
4.0

I honestly just can't get enough of Juliet Marillier. Unfortunately (sort of), I've already read all of her books!! I love each and every one, and I devour every new one that comes out. Now I guess I just have to bide my time until the next one.
Seer of Sevenwaters is the newest book in the Sevenwaters series, which follows the Sevenwaters family through the generations. This book focuses on Sibeal, fourth daughter of Sean and Aisling, sister to Clodagh, the main character of the last Sevenwaters book. Sibeal has known all her life that she is to be a druid, she has talents and a special calling from the gods. But the summer that she spends on the island of Inis Eala causes her to question everything she believes. As with all of Marillier's books, there is a wonderful love story at the center. And, as with almost all of her books, there is something about the connection that makes it impossible, so that the two lovers must find a way through everything challenging their love to make it happen. For some reason that never gets old, no matter how many times it happens. I adore the love stories in every one of Marillier's books, and this one is no exception.
One thing I found interesting about Seer is how often Mac Dara, Cathal's otherwordly father, introduced in the last book, is brought up. I have a feeling the final book in the series in going to center on the confrontation with him.
