Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity
by David Allen
I liked this edition (2002) as an intro because it was super condensed on 3 hours of audio and listening at 1.75x speed, it was more the length of a podcast. I plan on reading/listening to the updated edition which accounts for how digital our lives have become since.... the Palm Pilot(!). But this was a good intro/overview. His organization system is appealing to me because it accounts for human psychology (why we worry about to-dos and common pitfalls of perfectionist/sensitive/smart people) and the goal is to move tasks “out of your head” so you can really enjoy the fun stuff.
