For some reason this was the only book I was able to get through, and I went into it thinking it was only a cute and possibly sad, ghost romance. I had no idea about the themes of religion and while I found it interesting and would normally appreciate that, I just didn’t expect it so it felt jarring. There were a few well-worded quotes that I picked out, and overall I liked the main character and love interest. They weren’t very dimensional, I also thought their relationship seemed very quick and simple, without much depth, but to be fair it is a shorter book. I heard that the love interest was super sweet and likable and had a great compelling personality and traits…and I saw none of that. Liked the ghosts and some aspects but overall was just a quick commitment.
