I loved the idea behind this book — a mystery book inside a mystery book inside a mystery book. The concept is so well thought-out and keeps you guessing from start to finish. I genuinely had no idea how Hannah’s book would end. That said, the mystery surrounding Hannah herself is a bit easier to figure out. In fact, it almost feels like the actual author writes better when writing as someone else.
Oh, and if this review is a little confusing… Well, so was the book at times! Still, I really enjoyed watching not just Hannah’s fictional mystery unfold, but also her real-life story, which we only got in tiny spoonfuls through Leo’s correspondence with her. So even though it was occasionally a bit hard to follow, I still believe it’s definitely worth the read!
