I have a gripe about authors who write "chapters" that are only two pages long, which was the consistent pattern in this book. I got this book from a friend, who made the comment that she can always guess Patterson's endings so sometimes she flips to the end of the books to see if she's right. That being said, I'm not sure why anybody would want to bother reading books like that except that it can be useful when you want something light while you're waiting for your plane, which is exactly when I read this.
