Blood of Elves
by Andrzej Sapkowski, Andrzej Sapkowski
A lot of new characters and a deeper explanations of the existing ones is the strong point. A single overarching story line seems so be more interesting than the preceding books. However, especially in the middle, both Geralt and Ciri's stories don't advance much which was slightly frustrating. Also, an anti-climatic ending, even if it sets the stage for the next book, makes the book unfulfilling. Hope the next books build up better on this foundation.
