Mr Brown comes down the hill by Peter Howard

5.0

If you love ‘The Prophet’ by Khalil Gibran. This one is better. It’s a play that follows Jesus Christ’s life and last days. It’s a modernized retelling.

Touching on fascism, racism, imperialism, communism, religion, war, human psychology, desire and much much more.

It questions and confronts the Christianity of the church and Christianity of Christ. It simplifies religion without ever talking about religion. It holds no air nor attitude of righteousness - such a humble play.
