honestly, it’s my fault that i kept reading this entire series… i already didn’t really like book 1, book 2 was marginally better and this one was on par with book 2 i guess.
i do want compensation for being forced to read apollo‘s point or view because i was violently annoyed at him at first, then got angry, and then contemplated ripping out every single page that had his thoughts written on them. i despised every part of those chapters…
as for the book itself, it had its good moments obviously, and i didn’t get as annoyed with evangeline as in book 1 at least. i enjoyed jacks point of view and their interactions throughout the book… i was kind of sad that we didn’t get to see as much of LaLa and Castor (especially LaLa!)
all in all it was an okay read.
my favorite part (of all three books) were the tiny dragons.and yes i did get very very very angry when jacks had that vendor put his cart on fire because why on earth would you ever aspire to make tiny dragons cry??? what did they ever do to you???? why?
i also don’t think i’ve ever annotated a book with this many curse words… that’s mostly apollo‘s fault.
all in all it was an okay read. i‘m glad it’s over. i don’t think i’ll come back to these books… oh well

i would advice anyone to check out the trigger warnings for this book because some parts were incredibly hard to read
