I’ve never read Lolita, and only saw half of the movie with Jeremy Irons. But in a attempt to buy less books and use the library, I grabbed this one off the shelf because it was facing outwards. It’s like shopping!
Anyway, the idea is that the famous novel was based on a horrific abduction/rape story of a real person (and the author never fessed up the inspiration)
Either way, I just wanted to know more about Sally Horner in the end. Her story is tragic in more ways than I can fathom.
