This book. It's my favorite comfort read. For two decades, The Neverending Story reigned supreme as my all time favorite book. Until I read this book.
I can't exactly put to words what speaks to me the most about this story. Perhaps it's the deep seated *need* to create. Maybe it's the journey and healing they experience together along the way. Maybe it's just simply that Rowan is hot, Isobel is relatable, and the goats turned girls are ADORABLE.
But mostly, this book feeds my soul. I think there's something to be said for that.
