Another challenge choice, this graphic novel was a miss for me. I didn't particularly like the art...well, not at all. I didn't like any of the characters. Possibly just because there is no way I can relate to this type of war/persecution trauma and the generational difficulties that spring from it. I did appreciate the effort and solution taken to show different languages while mostly letting the English reader understand throughout. Also liked the art style of the sketches within the story.
