Julia is an adorable girl. She's in her own world, expressing herself to the fullest, and not giving a single crap about what people think about her. She's a perfectionist and a "goodie-goodie," but she's also very conceited. I found that she thought very highly of herself throughout the story and it was annoying at some parts.
However, I really loved the love story in this. The way that Julia and Jason, a guy in her class who is the complete opposite of what Julia is, are on this school trip/vacation and it always seems like they're stuck together to the point where Julia's irritation with this guy turns into love! It's a good "I hate you" to "I love you" type of story! Just the way that they fell in love with one another in the most unexpected way!
