Thank you to Penguin Randomhouse Canada and Tandem Global for a copy of this book to participate in the readalong!
This book has some great elements and adventures for kids! Christoper and Mal are great characters, going on their adventure and meeting other characters and various creatures on their journey. I admit I was a little surprised by all the death - one of which happens quite early on. All of the creatures were definitely my favourite! There were some very unique ones, and then of course, dragons! I struggled a little with the pacing and writing, but I just know so many people would love this book!
