You've Reached Sam by Dustin Thao
5.0

This book had been on my holds list at the library and when I finally got a copy, I immediately dug into it without realizing what I was getting myself into. I'm glad I did, because had I known I probably would have told myself to wait for next year when I had a little bit more distance between my own losses, but it was comforting yet painful, to read now.

This book plays on the innate desire of being able to have one last conversation with someone we love following their death. In this case, there did get multiple conversations, but still, same concept essentially lol

My only criticism is that I wanted more. More answers, more flashbacks, more calls, more from the necklace (like a full on ghost pottery wheel moment lol), more fantasy dreams of a future that never will be.

This book is worth reading just for the perfection that is the last line before the epilogue.
