Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
5.0

This is definitely my fave out of the 3 (both book and movie).

Catching Fire keeps throwing things at you and you just need to keep reading to find our what the next curveball is going to be.

I loved how confused Katniss was about her feelings, the whole "victors tour" and how Katniss starts to become more and more aware about the Capitol and their intentions, which makes her question everything she thought she knew about her world.

The second Games are just THE BEST, especially thanks to my boy Finnick and Johanna - and it does not matter how many times I read/watch THAT scene with Mags, I'll cry my eyes out every time.

I really really loved this one. The only think that bothered was the "I'm not like other girls" sentiment that Katniss sometimes had and how they treated the tributes from D6 morphling addicts. I though it was unnecessary and stigmatising.

"I really can't think about kissing when I've got a rebellion to incite" QUEEN.
