This book took a while to get interesting. I feel like the first half had a lot of detail and the second half was a bit rushed. The characters weren’t especially interesting but I did feel like I was on their side and wanted them to succeed. I don’t usually read historic fiction but I liked the Paris setting. This book feels very YA.
