The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon

3.0

Read for my English class. This is probably one of my favorite books that I've read in school because for once it isn't about 'average' people and written in a unique way, as the main character has Asperger's. I really enjoyed the message of this book and seeing Christopher grow and face his fears. Even though the writing made me feel disconnected because of the lack of emotions (he doesn't understand some feelings and the book is very direct without descriptions), I think the perspective was refreshing. This isn't a book I would've picked up in my free time but it was an okay read and something different.
