Brooklyn Cupid by Lexi Ray

4.0

If you are already familiar with Lexi Ray's books, you will find that this one is different. It's set in NYC and can be categorized as a contemporary romance novel. There is a cute, swoony (blushing) hero and a lovley artistic heroine. It's a very sweet love story. However, there is also a bit of action as the hero is secretly a bounty hunter and there are some secrets on the heroine's side as well.

I really liked the story. It's an easy read and I can absolutely recommend it. I also loved that the book was mostly written from the hero's point of view. The book cover is great too.

To be fair, I have to mention that the writing style doesn't live up to the author's usual high standards. I would still be happy if there was a sequel with the supporting characters.

Possible triggers: kidnapping, violence, guns/shooting, mention of PTSD
