Sylvia Plath's writing is beautiful and her small descriptions and observations in this book were immaculate. This book would've gotten a higher rating if I hadn't lost a bit of focus in the later half of the novel. There are some uncomfortable descriptions of POC in here which also brought the rating down a bit. Otherwise, I think this is a book everyone (except if you're sensitive to any triggers in this book) should read once in their life.
Graphic: Self harm, Suicidal thoughts, Suicide, Suicide attempt
Minor: Racism
