The only complaint I have about the Sookie Stackhouse novels is that they are so good that I read them in a day and then have to wait another year for the next one to come out. Thank goodness I have True Blood to hold me over during the summer. I enjoyed this addition to the series and I liked getting to learn more about the fae and the origin of Sookie's gift. I regretted not seeing more of Jason in this one, but I'm glad that Remy and Hunter showed up. I really mourned for Pam in this one, as I'd really like her and wanted to see her happy. I kept hoping for an unsanctioned change for Miriam. Can't wait for the next book!
