Luncheon of the Boating Party
by Susan Vreeland
Within the first 100 pages, I wanted to rate this book a 1. It was slow, boring, and hard to sift through. Then he finally starts painting and it gets a little better, so I was thinking of giving it a 2. But towards the end with the love triangle going on, and Renoir trying to fix all the little problems with his painting it bumped itself up to a 3 for me. This is definitely not my style of book, but I liked it. If you like painting, Paris, and history, this is the book for you.
