479 pages is a lot for a fluffy chick-lit novel. Especially one that doesn't end. If there is a future installment, I hope Miss Kinsella learns to edit, and be more concise in her writing. Further, Becky is married with a child. While I do not expect a woman to change completely once she becomes a mother, some character development would be nice.
