Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

Probably the strongest book in the series, but much of the mass could be edited out, due to a repetitive writing style particularly towards the end. I had a recent epiphany that the plot almost identically mirrors Harry Potter. Despite this, the character development is definitely strongest in this installation, all whilst grieving the enormity of the implicated consequences from the last book. Certain ‘victories’ are predictable at this point, hence less impactful but still poignant. However these characters are so full of life now, I can’t believe I’m finally approaching the conclusion. Whilst the writing style does not lend itself brilliantly to contrasting perspectives, we have grown so close to each of our protagonists, I dread to think I have to leave them!
Also some powerful redemption arcs/progression through the predictably action-packed final act. Altogether a great success, layering even more complexity upon this mega plot.
