A difficult book to read due to its many intense scenes, but the narrative was good and engaging. I had never read a dark romance before, and this one was interesting. I couldn’t continue with the second book because the story becomes unbearably heavy, dealing with extremely difficult topics like human trafficking and sexual exploitation. I stopped at the first book, which was already heavy enough.
