Vera is like no other. The annoying yet lovable mother figure everyone needs in their life. The story brings together 4 individuals who have two things in common—Vera and death. The story uncovers each individual’s truth with laughs, sadness, and anger. This book serves as a somewhat light and entertaining read. At times, some parts felt too lengthy, but overall an enjoyable read.
