The Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious by C.G. Jung

slow-paced

4.0

First, I'll just get this out of the way: Jung is a product of his time. I don't really agree with his conclusions about or framing of the human condition, but his cultural influence is undeniable, and Jung's theories are great material for any writer or literary critic. In fact, the very next book I started after I finished this one (the book in question having been published in 2024) was brimming with Jungian cosmology right from the first chapter.
