I recognized a lot of craft techniques I learned from Ron Carlson on display here. Give you characters an inventory, send them into the story to find out where it's going, carvings that display aeons beyond the time of man, intelligences beyond our comprehension, destroy the inventory, at least one character goes mad. Typical craft stuff.
