Absolutely loved this book so much. It's difficult to make a zombie book unique with so many other books in this genre out there, but the different characters and the shifting POV really made the story distinctive. I loved Melanie and being able to see Miss J, Caldwell and Parks through her eyes.

And, that ending!!

There was no saving humanity here, no last minute revelations. No fluff to make yourself feel better. It was despairing yet also almost hopeful with the way it was a full circle moment.

Such a fan. Ordering the next book ASAP.
