The Gods of War by Conn Iggulden

This was one of my favorite books in the series. Every line by every character was almost like a sword to the heart. I always wondered what would have been Brutus' thought that drove him to do his actions. It is shocking and relatable in the way author had brought this moment.

"You too Brutus?", "Yes".
The line that will always break my heart.

Because the other way of the knife between them was "I will never have his blood on my hands. We have too many years together between us".
