The Perfect Catch
by Meghan Quinn
This is one of the best books Meghan Quinn has ever written, and I thought I loved the Getting Lucky series best.
Walker is the catcher for the Chicago Bobbies, and Kate is the new PR Manager in charge of cleaning up his angry image. The Bobbies have a no fraternization policy, but once Kate breaks down Walker's barriers they find they're meant for each other. But they're off-limits, and losing their jobs isn't an option for either of them.
This is a slow burn romance that is incredibly hot. There's a twist that I didn't see coming, and a tie-in to another book. I did predict the resolution, but it didn't take away from my enjoyment of the book.
I suspect that Penn Cutler will be getting his own book.
