I want to preface this with saying that I think the writing itself is incredible and the author clearly is a beautiful writer however the book itself was not for me. I found the characters boring and the plot itself never really presented itself. When I finished the book I was left sitting there with the thought of “that was it?” Not that I wanted to read more but it seemed like there was an essential part of the book missing that would have made it worth something other than a book with boring and frustrating characters.
