I loved this beautiful little creature feature - I was creeped and spooked throughout most parts of it, even the ‘uneventful’ parts, but I loved the internal monologues and 3/4 person conversations. As mentioned in my Ward D review, I do enjoy the premise of a somewhat unreliable narrator as I enjoy the guesswork.

Mads’s ‘job’ has left me confused and the conversation with Parker, or why Grinner wanted everything to be a secret, like why were stomachs bulging out and was Parker even real? But as I said I do enjoy a good guessing game.

Great writing, great read and great meanings. 5*.
