I Met You After the End of the World (Light Novel) Volume 1 by Onii sanbomber
2.0
PSA.
JK = Joshikousei (Japanese for "Highschool Girl")
LDK = Living, Dining, Kitchen (classification for apartments, Google it for more details)

What is this book trying to be?
A slice-of-life iyashikei with the setting of the end of the world, where theres just the two of us?
A realistic portrayal of the end of the world with its horrors and loneliness?
Or maybe a critique into Japanese society and humanity as a whole?
Its tone, topics, and tension is messy, inconsistent, and inconsequential.
I can't take a book seriously if itself doesn't even know what its trying to be.
This singular volume hasn't been able to impress me.
But maybe after a few volumes, it gets better.
P.S. The translation is also completely unlocalized, thats a thumbs down from me.
