The Last Hope by Krista Ritchie, Becca Ritchie

3.0

The Last Hope, the sequel to [b:The Raging Ones|30301147|The Raging Ones (The Raging Ones, #1)|Krista Ritchie|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1532351186i/30301147._SY75_.jpg|50783349], was another fun Young Adult Sci-Fi book. While it took me a little longer to get into the story and to find my footing with these returning characters, the story ramped up nicely overall and ended in a way that was both exciting and satisfying.

A nice compliment to the first, I was glad to see another duology rather than stretching a series into a trilogy and have a middle book suffer because of it. The Ritchie sisters have crafted a well-thought out story arc and installed a trio of main characters who are completely individual and also wonderfully connected to each other along with the greater story.

I received this book for free from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This affected neither my opinion of the book, nor the content of my review.
