This was a very cute little gay love story. It just wasn't anything extraordinary. The main character could get quite annoying in the way she was talking to the reader and it didn't feel like she had much of any real development. I'm also not a big fan of miscommunication tropes, which was a lot of the conflict. The plot was a bit predictable due to these factors. It felt a lot like a cheesy straight people romcom that is just lighthearted and watching two people flirt, and gay people need those kinds of stories too. It left me smiling, which really was the goal of my reading it.
