CW: kidnapping,
We start with Haley waking up in the middle of a traditional hunt with no memory of how she got there or any real memory of who she was. The Hunter King smells the Omega scent on her, tracks her down, and they both fall into a rut. I liked how Haley doubted her skills but kept trying to figure things out. I understood her frustration with the King's lack of speaking but I liked that she worked to understand him and sought out others' assistance for some more complex questions. I appreciated that Hunter wanted to speak to her but was scared as to how he would be received. I liked that Haley figured out a way around everything by the end. I liked that stood up for herself and Hunter.
