Myla is in a bit of a pickle, she cant send souls to their rightful destination (being Heaven or Hell) since Lucifer's Orb is blocking her sending any to Heaven... and Myla really doesn't want to send innocent souls down to Armageddon. However, the souls are getting agitated, someone is stealing Myla's power and undermining her in every way. What does a girl have to do to catch a break?!

Character development was good, Myla and Lincoln learn to depend on each other, something that is a pretty foreign concept.
But Adair, seriously, cant she like... look beyond her own selfish person for a second and see what freaking problems she is causing? I don't say this lightly... but damn, she is a Bitch!
Cissy is awesome in this book! Stepping into her role and playing interference when Myla needs some help. Hell yeah!

Pacing and flow were good, felt like a lot more action in this book as in the first, but it still managed to maintain a good balance between all the action and conversation.

The book itself was well written with no (noticeable) errors.

All in all, all I can say is that I'm looking forward to reading the next part. Myla and Lincoln are bloody great together! Bring... it... on!
