unladylike 's review for:
Batman: Reptilian
by Garth Ennis
I hoped Garth Ennis would in some way redeem himself from some of my most-hated comic book series, but nope, it's worse. Which is too bad because the art style is actually super interesting and I wanted a good story focusing on Waylon Jones - one of, if not the only (?!) Black characters in Batman's Rogues Gallery. He has been portrayed several times as basically an outcast pushed and manipulated into being a ferocious villain, but he's really just Chaotic Neutral.
I think I got through the first two issues of this miniseries before tossing it aside, dedicated to preserving my reading eyeballs and precious time for higher quality comics (and embarrassing amounts of time playing certain video games).
