Queen Charlotte by Shonda Rhimes, Julia Quinn
5.0

The book was just as good as the show, which was to be expected as Julia Quinn not only is a great writer, but also wrote the book off of the show's scripts. It was great to get the multiple perspectives which mirrors the show's structure just obviously on a deeper level. Also super interesting was the additional little scenes added, as well as some scenes/a very specific plot lines that were left out. I just wonder if that was up to Julia and Shonda's discretion as far as the length and direction of the book (which I think makes the most sense) or if it also had to do with potential script rewrites. But yeah, quick and lovely read as always with her books <3
