The Grand Sophy is definitely one of the most enjoyable romance novels that I've ever read!

The Rivenhall family needs an intervention. Charles is the oldest son, and after shouldering his father's debt, he takes charge of the family finances. His intentions are good, but his effort distances him from his family. His choice of a dull, tiresome bride adds further tension to the atmosphere of the house.

Enter Sophy. She's smart, strong, and unconventional. She immediately sees that the family is not as it should be, and finds a way to work everything out to her liking.

It was a great delight to get to know her along the way.
