The Beginning of Everything
by Robyn Schneider
I wanted to love this book. It theoretically has all the things I love- quirky characters, deeply philosophical dialogue, references to great literature and other things I find myself geeking out over.
Unfortunately, I never cared for the characters as much as I feel I should- Cassidy downright pissed me off and I kept wondering if the author wrote this after reading The Fault of being a Wallflower or The Perks in our Stars. Derivative and also ridiculously unbelievable how Ezra and Cassidy's tragedies connected. Sigh.
