So a LOT happens in this book, like it was just long and lots of exposition-y spots. I enjoyed the romance in the beginning, like LOVED it and felt really drawn into the worldbuilding, but there were a few spots that just kinda made me go “ew no” or “ehhhh.” For example, the MMC contemplates

sexually assaulting and kinda does  grope the FMC

and then also describes the FMC as

exotic a few times, which I didn’t like because it seemed kinda fetish-y, especially because he described her “dark nipples” as exotic and really didn’t need that. It ruined the vibes

Otherwise, I liked the idea of the novel, but the end just needed some work? Like a lot of the trust issues/I thought you betrayed me plots are revisited multiple times after they have been done.
