It was a little refreshing not seeing a perfect, blonde, popular, IT girl being the star of the show in this book. Every FMC so far seems to have been the definition of perfection. The bullying and conflict between Taylor and her sorority girls was a little juvenile but I guess it worked. The third act breakup was also a little silly. Connor was okay. Not super special as far as MMCs go for these books. I’ve liked past guys better. His conflict with himself annoyed me too. I was annoyed half the time I was reading this book lol But it wasn’t terrible. I think the Briar U series could have ended on a much stronger note though. It feels unfinished.
