This book was a very fun read! I know everyone has been saying that, but it truly was just a lighthearted "spooky" story. Something I wish I reminded myself about when starting this book... was that it is mainly about Vivi's and Ryh's love story! With that being said, I really wish that there was a little more "witchy" aspects to it! I mean they did magic like FIVE TIMES throughout the whole story! I expected it to be a little more 'Halloweentown-ish' with magical characters and maybe some more creative types of spells. One other thing I could have lived without was the amount of "smut" that was involved in Vivi and Ryhs' relationship! Over half the book was focused on them having sex, rather than focusing on the magic system!
Regardless, I still really enjoyed the characters! Gwen was definitely my favorite among them all! I found the banter between everyone really funny. I burst out laughing on multiple occasions! I also really enjoyed the family's store "Something Witchy"! I thought it was fairly creative for a real which to run a stereotypical Halloween shop!
