I've read a few books of Michael Crichton and the stories are often very engaging and it is hard to put his books down. However, I am often left disappointed by the way he wraps up his stories. I feel like Sphere had so many directions it could have gone with the ending and it ended up feeling a bit anti-climatic and rushed.
