I started reading this series three years ago and read the first three books, now I'm finally finishing it! The thing I love most about this series is Valente's writing style, it is reminiscent of classics like Alice in Wonderland where a lot of descriptors are used.
This story follows new characters Hawthorn/Thomas and Tamburlaine, changelings who were plucked from Fairyland and grew up in the human world. Even though this was a detour from our main character September's story, I really liked this addition to the narrative.
