I find it difficult to decide how I feel about this book, so I'm just going to give it a completely middling rating and talk about some of my...impressions. I really enjoy Alice Oseman's style of writing, and the way she treats teenagers and teenage problems like real things meant to be confronted, rather than just teen angst that doesn't actually matter and can be just tossed aside. While I have recently steered away from YA contemporaries because it all seems to inconsequential to me, I don't see that happening with Oseman's novels because something is more real about them. Anyway, this was a quick yet deeply thoughtful read, and I am glad I finally picked it up.
