This was such a beautifully written story, the emotional journey we take it actually stunning and I have never laughed and cried so much as the story pulls at you.
Kyrell Knight has become one of my favourite characters of all time it’s refreshing to have a male lead that is upfront and honest, doesn’t lead anyone on and let’s everyone know what he thinks without miscommunications. His story was absolutely heartbreaking but was done brilliantly! Quinn Halifax is beautifully written and it’s great to see a strong female lead who is actually comfortable and stable without the need of man.
I found this book through a video for black history month giving a platform for black authors and I am so glad I did! I love this authors writing style and I will be going back to read the previous work before this book and I can’t wait to see what comes next from this author.
