The first of Thorogood’s work I’ve read but it won’t be the last. Every twist makes sense and you feel yourself piecing the puzzle together along side the main cast. There are a few moment where a little more description for setting would’ve been nice but it’s well paced from start to finish, no section is unwarranted and it’s a great introduction to ‘cozy crime’
Graphic: Death
Moderate: Body shaming, Fatphobia
Minor: Toxic relationship, Fire/Fire injury, Sexual harassment
